canon mp620 all-in-one scanner driver

I was able to download the latest canon printer drivers from the apple site, and the wireless printer now works but I was unable to scan!
The download states it was for printing and scanning ugh!!

Any Ideas

Thanks

I'm connected wirelessly.
The driver download from the apple site worked fine so I can now print wirelessly.

I needed to scan a document and I received a message that the scanner driver was incorrect.
The download from apples site says it was for the printer and the scanner. I thought this would have solved my problem but it didn't.

Do you think I need to reinstall Snow leopard disk? Are the drivers on the disc?

I am fairly new to macs, switched from windows and glad did.

Thanks for your help.

I don't think so. If you just download the scanner driver from Canon, then you will have all you need. Here is a link to the scanner driver from the Canon Australia web site.

Note that if you want to 'push' scan a document from the MP620 to the Mac, you will need to install the Canon IJ Network Tool. You can download from here.

Well then a big welcome to the Mac world. Hopefully this little hiccup doesn't put you off making the switch 🙂
