You can't make an alias or put it in the dock or add it to the sidebar in a Finder window, or in iTunes, right click show in Finder?
But if you choose to do it another way, okay.

It is part of iTunes. It is not a separate application.

Dubious? It add items to iTunes and moves them to the iTunes music/media folder. Nothing dubious about it at all.
Many, many, many users have been screaming for this since iTunes was released.
I am organizing my music library by myself, manually, and I don't need a software nanny for this.
Then don't use it.
