Trouble With Motorola S305 & iPod Touch 64 Gb

I just received a new iPod Touch 64 Gb and thought I'd get a Bluetooth headphone set to take advantage of its new Bluetooth feature.
The phones sound great but only let me stop/start music and adjust volume. The skip forward/back buttons on the sides of the phones apparently don't work with this iPod for some reason. I hear the beep when I press these areas on the phones, but nothing happens. Is this maybe just a shortcoming with this new iPod and OS (3.1.1) Has anyone experienced this or have I just got a defective set of head phones?

I have the Motorola S305 Bluetooth Headphones and when I bought them the salesman told me that the track-foward/back buttons do not work with iPods. I have not found any bluetooth headphones whose track-foward/back button actually work with iPods.

Same problem here. All the reviews I have seen on Amazon, etc... say the same thing.
Apparently , Apple is at fault in the firmware of the AD2P , hopefully they will fix this as well as allowing the Touch to use the MICROPHONE too !

I just bought the S305 and I have an Ipod touch 3rd generation and the problem is still i would like to know if any one knows if apple is making a update on the ipod software so i can use it without a problem....

I'd like to know too! I thought I could use the microphone for making calls using skype on my ipod touch. I have only been able to use it for music. It sounds great, but I'd like to use the other features. Should I have any hope?
