I recently installed bootcamp. However, because i didn't realize at first, but I have lost the Windows CD's. I said forget, no need to have Windows anyway. However, now I stuck with this thing on my desktop called Bootcamp, and its taking away 15gb of my macbook's memory. How to i take back the memory I put into bootcamp and kill it forever? Also, I can't seem to find the Bootcamp Assistant application
Open the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder, select the drive in the sidebar, click on the Partition tab, delete the Boot Camp partition, drag the bottom slider of the Mac OS X partition as far down as it wil go, and click Apply.
An easier way would have been to go back into Bootcamp assistant, Applications>Utilities>Bootcamp assistant, select the option to restore or remove a bootcamp partition, and then choose the option to restore to a single volume.
