iPhone charger caught on fire

My iPhone's charger caught on fire and left a burning hole where the charging place of the iPhone is at. I bought my iPhone 3G on July 11, 2008. What do I do?

Did your charger have the green dot on it? That shows it was the newer charger as there was a recall and notices sent out for the first charger that went out with the first 3Gs

I had lost the old charger so i used the charger from the 1st generation nut it was the actual USB connector that caught on fire between the link of it and the iPhone 3G. i don't know what to do.

Call U.S. iPhone technical support: 1-800-MY-IPHONE (1-800-694-7466) and ask them what to do.
