itunes does not see my apple tv

I had my apple tv working with my old xp machine before it went.

I am now trying to connect to it running itunes 9 and on windows 7 and server 2008 but neither see it. I can ping it and get no lost packets and it can access trainlers and movies. I have alseo restarted itunes, computer, apple tv and router. I have also opened up all the ports suggested in the apple support page.

my ipod touch can access my apple tv to control it no problems

can anyone tell me how I can get it seen in itunes

Did you remove the old library link when you removed the old PC and re-add it when you introduced the new one.

I never removed the old libuary as I didn't think that it would have made a difference and I didn't wantbto loose the films on it encase I couldn't get it synced again. I will try it

What other ports do I need opened? I allow bonjour and other apple service through. I have also opened ports 80 443 3689 & 5??? That apple adivised to be open
