What is Tiswitcher?

I found this Tiswitcher on my activity monitor.
No idea what is it or what is it from, it shows 64bits.
probably from snow leopard itself, out of curiosity.

anyone know what cause it to be there?
I tried checking language and text side, but incorrect.

/System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/TextInput.menu/ Contents/SharedSupport/TISwitcher.app

Looks like system.

My best guess - SL now allows features that used to be available by using the international input to now be used as a service, hence the always running.

Just a guess.
