Downloaded movie will not play

Same thing is happening to me. But in the download window it shows download progress at snails pace. Eventually (hours) it is there but is only "white". I am using Apple TV 2. It charges for the movie as well!

Hey there, recently bought the apple TV and as soon as i bought some HD TV shows - same issue! One work around i noted was that after playing, and getting white screen - pause it, then start playing again and things seem to work - watched hole TV show after previously dealing with 30 mins of seemingly watching a bizzard at North Pole!

Must say i think since last update, have not noticed again - so update!?

de/re authorise your itunes library.

Can I get some clarification? You said de/re authorize the iTunes LIBRARY? Do you mean to say de/re authorize the "computer" as noted in the iTunes 'STORE' dropdown menu? This will solve the creepingly SLOW download that never seems to make it? Thanks!
