Hi there

We just got a new imac with a big screen.

We updated safari 4.03 and everytime we search the internet with our
cookies turned off. Google keeps putting cookies on with the cookies turned off.

How do I get rid of them for good. I empty history, got rid of cache folder and cookie folder.

The cookies keep coming back. Can I return this imac for another one and hopefully the cookies will not appear? I am getting very frustrated with google cookies. Any help will be appreciated thank you

I understand cookies that is not the point.

I have my cookies turned off and google keeps putting their cookies on their and I do not want them
there. I want to know how to delete them for good. We never had this problem until we bought
this new imac. Would it help to return this imac for a different one that does not have this problem"

Take a deep breath. Now, what browser are you using? Safari? Preferences>Security>Show Cookies. Delete them.

I am using safari the newest version. But we had this problem when we first got this computer

and we cannot get rid of google cookies even with the cookies turned off. They keep reappearing and nothing I do seems to help. Is it the fault of the new imac a bug in it.

In my previous message I said I was using safari and when you open safari prefences
and click to show cookies that is when google and any one else will place their cookies. When the cookies are turned off. How do I get rid off them for good.

Did you check "never", which has it's drawbacks?
