How to de-authorize computers that no longer exist

I have currently authorized iTunes on 4 computers. However, I only use it on two computers. The other two computers no longer exist.

Is there a way to de-authorize those non-existent computers?

As far as I can remember, you are allowed to authorize up to 5 computers. if you log into your iTunes store account, you may see a "Deauthorize All" button. I would start there.

If you do not see the button, you may have to authorize 5 computers to be able to deauthorize all. if that's the case, find a computer, authorize it and check again.

hi i have a similar problem i have authorized 5 computers but that's because i have forgotten to deotherize my account before reformatting my computers and i already deothorized all computers once about 5 months ago and cant do it again until next year i don't know what to do. any suggestions

I have the same problem.

My daughters notebook crashed the otherday. No I tunes says 5 of 5 are authorized and I cannot authorize this computer. How do I authorize this computer. I cannot de-authorize all again.

This forum has been no help on finding anyting.
