Can't get Album Artwork - error 609

Bought a new ipod touch last week. Started importing cd's into itunes last Friday and system was importing artwork from istore just fine.

Yesterday, I changed my import location from my c: drive to my i: drive (external hard drive) in order to save storage space. I deleted the previously imported music from my itunes. Now every cd I import gets an itunes error saying:

"Artwork for ___ could not be found. An unknown error occurred (-609).

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to fix this??? I know these albums are available for sale from itunes. I don't want to have to manually go find the artwork on the internet.

Any help would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

Hello David.Mac
And welcome to Apple Discussions!

I am not entirely sure why this happens, but maybe try this possible solution that many others have had success with:

Sign out of iTunes store
Quit iTunes
Re-load iTunes
Log into Store
And then re-attempt to retrieve album artwork

Or try either of the solutions provided in these links. Worth a shot. 😉
