How to delete a single character?

Help Please!

I'm not sure if it's just me or that it's just so infuriating!!!???

There a word say like "Elephant"

But every time I wanna move the cursor to the middle of a word it just highlights the whole thing!

Or if I just wanna delete the "t" and the end, its highlights it all too!

1) Put you Insertion Point where you want to start the selection. Hold down shift and use the arrow keys to move to the right or left. Press the arrow key once for each character you want selected.
OR
2) Insert the Point and keep the mouse button pressed and drag over the characters you want selected

Hmm I was using a template! Think that might have had something to do with it! 🙂 Cheers guys!

Then you are selecting "placeholder" text which is auto-selected for replacement.

Since it is mostly in pseudo Latin you would not want to fine edit it, unless it was merged data from your details in *Address Book*, in which case go back to *Address Book* and correct your entries there.
