How to I move the Macintosh HD Icon to the desktop?
I found the file of the Macintosh HD in folders, but I want to move it to the desktop as an Icon. It also doesn't appear under devices when I click on the folder and open it. How can I do this.
thanks
Do you know how I can get my Mac HD icon on my desktop if checking the "hard disks" box (finder>preferences>general) still does nothing? If I check/uncheck external disks, I can see them on my desktop disappear and reappear. When I do the same with Hard Disks I get nothing... no icon at all.
I've even tried cleaning up and arranging my desktop (in case it was hiding off-screen) but still nothing.
Any ideas would be helpful and appreciated! Thanks.
Thanks very much. Is there a way to place the Macintosh HD back in devices, and is there a way to make the icon smaller on the desktop. It's quite large.
