Hi There-
Since I have updated my iTunes to the latest version (9 I think), not all my apps are syncing over. In the new version, you can check each box next to the app and it will either sync or not sync the app to my iPod Touch. My problem is that even after I check the box, it says it is syncing it over but nothing goes to the touch and the box is immediately unchecked. Another problem it is giving me is that if I choose an app, another one will uncheck and the whole thing is frustrating. I use all my apps and I want them all to be synced, Unfortunately, these is no box that gives the option to just sync all. You have to go in and choose each one, well, I do that and then I get apps that don't sync. I do hope someone will be able to shed some light on this. Thanks for looking and taking the time. Please let me know if you have any questions that might help diagnose this problem.

Sincerely- Doug

I am also having the same problem. I downloaded the new iTunes near the end on september but the first time I had an issue was this morning. It actually removed 2 of my apps from my iPod. I still have not figured out what the problem is though. Sorry.

I have the same problem since getting iTunes 9. However, I think mine has to do with the fact that the apps that won't sync were purchased with a different iTunes account. I have tried to sync with both accounts but they still don't get sync'd. They show on the iTunes screen, they are checked, and they show on the iPhone screen where they will be when sync'd but once I sync, they aren't on the phone but still show in iTunes as sync'd. If I go to the App Store on my phone (3G) and look at the app, it shows "installed" but aren't on the phone. I have tried using my MAC and a PC; I have tried everything to get them to show up but to no avail. Anyone out there can help??!?!?!?!?

Just had similar problem. Using itunes 9 and my ipod touch with v2 os suddenly 4 or 5 apps were removed and would not sync back to the ipod. Tried a restore but this did not work (I should have recovered from a previous days backup). So bit the bullet and updated to v3.1 on the ipod. I am now able to sync the apps. I haven't checked but it could be that the apps were updated to v3 compatibility only. Hope this helps.
