Can't download apps on iphone

For some reason I haven't been able to download any apps without using a credit card. My balance on my account is $35, but it doesn't give me the option to use that, only credit card which I do not have.

Can anybody help me?

Using iTunes, you can log into your account. From there you can check your payment method on file to verify that the numbers are correct. I've had to "re-submit" my payment method from time to time for no apparent reason. Usually it has to do with the 3 digit security code on the back of your card. Try making sure all of your information is correct and give it another try.

Whoops, I guess I should read a little more carefully (getting rather late here). In your case, you will need a credit card. I'm not sure if they sell them in Canada, but in the US, most convenience/drug stores sell "pre-paid' credit cards. One of the best is from Green Dot designed specifically for online shopping, and is called such. They're easy to load, can be "registered" in your name with your address, and used for online purchasing, including iTunes. Like I said, not sure if they sell them in Canada, but if they do, that could be an option for you.
