presonis firebox in snow leopard

I have a FireBox and it has run flawlessly with Snow Leopard. The FireBox has class-compliant drivers, so there is no update needed. I connected my MIDI drum set last night to the FireBox and recorded some tracks with no problem. The FireBox is always instantly recognized on my MacBook Pro when I plug it in.

Sorry, forgot to mention that I did all of the things mentioned above in Logic 9 with Snow Leopard. My FireBox has worked exactly the same as when I had Logic 8 and Leopard.

The Firebox drivers aren't class compliant in the true sense but I did notice that the latest driver on the Presonus website is labelled as '10.5+' so I'd presume that means they've tested it with Snow Leopard.

Presonus claims that the FireBox is class-compliant and if you look closely under the Presonus.com website spot for the Firebox driver for the Mac, it says: (Please note: no driver installation is necessary for Mac users).

There are no drivers for the FireBox. It works immediately.

What is available on the Presonus site is the mixer/routing application.

Not having that does not preclude the box from working just fine with any CoreAudio-compliant app under 10.6, though.

Yeah, you're right - its the other software that goes with the Firebox.
