imovie theme to idvd

I have composed a movie using the photograph album theme in imovie, but am unable to have that transfer over to idvd. Not only that the transitions don't seem to work either. Can anyone help? Thanks

What kind of camera did you use? If your camera is h.264, don't use SHARE TO IDVD. Use Share/ To Media Browser and bring to iDVD through Media Browser.
