Total uptime?

Question

Total uptime?

I remember there was a way on my old powerbook to check the total uptime (the total hours on the machine). Is there any way to do this now?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

Hi There,

System Profiler will be able to give you this information. System Profiler is located in the Utilities folder. Click on the Software label in the list and you should see the System Software overview. At the bottom of this overview it will give you the time since boot. Alternatively you can type uptime into a terminal window and it will echo back the current uptime.

Or via the terminal with the command uptime.
