Record, hearing only the original signal without having to mute the track.
I put a microphone in front of my guitar cabinet.
The Microphone is going into my Presonus Firepod.
Even if Logic is not opened, I hear the guitar in my monitors.
This means that it is not possible to mute the input guitar signal,
because it is there even if Logic is not opened.
When Logic is opened, I have to mute the incoming signal to be
able to hear the actual signal being recorded. If I do not mute, I
also hear a signal from Logic. So, when I record, I record enable
and mute the track at the same time in Logic.
I would like to not hear the incoming signal when Logic is not opened.
Then it also would be possible to mute the incoming signal in Logic.
I would like to record, hearing only the original signal without having
to mute the track.
Any suggestions?
