Its hard to believe but I have been getting conflicting info from Apple on the new 160 GB iPod Classic. I have been told twice that it has a HDD and twice that it has a SDD. Can someone clear this up for me and if it does have a SDD do you know what the general difference is....pros and cons? I'm trying to decide between the previous 120GB version and the new 160GB. Thanks very much.

All iPod classic models have had a HDD and not a SSD, which are usually found in the iPod Nanos, iPod Shuffles, and iPod Touches. So, both the 120 and 160 GB models use a regular HHD and NOT a SSD.
No problem. You will notice in the specs page for any of the iPods available on Apple's website that in the
Capacity section it gives the available sizes. If it has a SSD drive it says something like "64 GB flash drive." For the iPods with regular HDDs, it says something like "160 GB hard drive."
