How do I translate a subtitle format called *.890 to something that I can use in DVDSP? Is there any apps for OS X, and what format would I like for DVDSP?

send me a short .890 file and I will check it out.
That format of file is (according to filext.com) a SAM Digital Subtitle from software made by
these guys. It looks like it is a purely windows thing, but I would think that a decent text editor like BBEdit would be able to at least open it.
There doesn't look to be any conversion from that format to others on the Cavena web site, but you might want to email them and see what they say.

Yes, please. What adress do I use? Thanks!
I think Lemony (a PC subtitling and conversion software) can take in those files and then convert them to STL or whatever.
