Bounce Region in Place Simultaneously ?

I can only get it to do one at a time. Although this would be a nice option.

+1 for multiple bounce in place.

Until this feature arrives you can set up Aux channels as the output or send from the tracks you want to bounce in place and assign these Aux channels as the inputs on their own Audio tracks and record in real time in Logic.

The other missing option is to deactivate the original tracks. I don't want to just MUTE them, and I don't want to get RID of them. But I don't want them eating up processor time. The new Studio One DAW allows this option, it's a good one....

That is a pretty big limitation to an otherwise cool feature. I hope they add the ability to bounce ALL (or at least multiple) tracks at one time, it's something that has the potential to be used all the time.

Thanks for the tip. It would still be nice to be able to do it and add new tracks instead of replacing them.

Yeah it's like they almost got this right, and for some reason said, "Oh I know, if they bounce all tracks, let's no longer give them the option to mute them." 😉

They really need that option to deactive them, but then Logic doesn't have a deactivate mode anyway apparently, you have to manually dump the VI.

I have gone to using Vienna Ensemble Pro with Logic, which is a great solution, check it out...

Looks very cool, the only thing holding me back at this point is it not working with PLAY, hopefully that will change very soon.

VE Pro is a cool App but right now very buggy with certain Plugs like NI and SoundToys stuff. I tried using it today and gave up after several crashes.

Tom, if you have Stylus RMX, have you tried running it hosted by VE in 64 bit?

The NI bugs are not the fault of VE Pro, they are NI bugs. Don't know about Soundtoys.

I do have Stylus but have not tried it yet. I am still on 10.5.8, not ready to jump to the new system yet.

I have mainly used it with Vienna Instruments thus far. Will be trying it with Superior Drummer this weekend and I'll try the normal 32 bit RMX.

The NI bug with Kontakt is making it crash upon instantiating more than ONE instance of Kontakt. It's being worked on....

Regarding PLAY, I never judge any software by whether or not PLAY works with it;)

You might be able to run the 64 bit version of Stylus under 10.5. Maybe not, but would be interesting to try out if you have a minute.

And I'm totally agreed about PLAY...but since I'm using a lot of that, it's a deal breaker for VE until things are sorted out.
