How can I delete .sparsebundle from Time Capsule?

Hi, can anyone help me with my problem?
I want to delete backup of my iMac from TimeCapsule to create a fresh new one.
But it seems not so easy.
I've turned off TimeMachine on iMac and tried to delete sparsebundle from TimeCapsule via Finder. Result is infinite waiting for removal in Finder dialog window.
I've tried to select 'no backup disk' in TimeMachine preferences but got the same result.
All software and firmware are updated to latest versions.
I cannot erase the whole TimeCapsule drive as described in other posts here because I have a backup of my MacBook Pro on it and I need to keep it.

Thank you for any help and information.

iMac 7,1 MacBook Pro 2,2, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

When you open the Time Capsule folder to see the sparsebundle file that you want to delete, try clicking the file to highlight it, then click the gear shaped icon just above and select Move to Trash.

Be careful to get the correct file because it will be deleted instantly using this method.
