Time Capsule Port Forwarding?

Here are the basic steps:

1. Reserve a DHCP-provided IP address for the host device.
Internet > DHCP tab
o On the DHCP tab, click the "+" (Add) button to enter DHCP Reservations.
o Description: <enter the desired description of the host device>
o Reserve address by: MAC Address
o Click Continue.
o MAC Address: <enter the MAC (what Apple calls Ethernet ID if you are using wired or AirPort ID if wireless) hardware address of the host computer>
o IPv4 Address: <enter the desired IP address>
o Click Done.

2. Setup Port Mapping on the AEBSn.
Advanced > Port Mapping tab
o Click the "+" (Add) button
o Service: Remote Login - SSH
o Public TCP Port(s): 22
o Private IP Address: <enter the IP address of the host server>
o Private TCP Port(s): 22
o Click "Continue"

This is done using the AirPort Utility to make the configuration changes to your TC.

These instructions would be for AirPort Utility 7.4.x and effective for all models of the TC. Note, port mapping is only available if your TC has NAT enabled. If you are using it as a bridge all ports will already be open.

Is your TC the only router in your network? Is your modem, just a modem, or a combination modem/router?

Ok, thanks. If, within the AirPort Utility, Connection Sharing = Share a public IP address, then both the DHCP & NAT tabs should be enabled for you to make those settings.

I am trying to do something similar. I need to connect my LG blu ray player to the TC thru ethernet. The blu ray player uses port 80 or 443. Can I follow the same instructions? What is the service I should select in the drop down for the port mapping. The blu ray interfaces with YouTube, netflix, it also goes to the can update the software for the blu-ray. Thanks for your help and sorry for intruding to your conversation - it seemed similar to my issue.
