MMS Update

wish it worked for me. just aint working

It only took a few seconds to update my iPhone also. I did a quick restart and my iPhone was sending MMS messages.

What happens when you try to send an MMS? Did iTunes install the carrier update?

If the issue persists, contact AT&T ( http://www.att.com/wireless/contact-us/) and have them verify the account settings.

yea, updated carrier settings via itunes, rebooted.

at main messages screen you see message send failure under the conversation

Which iPhone model do you have?
Have you checked with AT&T?
Do remember the servers are under a heavy load, I had an SMS that did not go through this morning and had to resend. Did you click on the exclamation mark?

Note: If your iPhone meets the system requirements, your wireless account may still need to be provisioned to send and receive MMS messages. Many carriers will automatically provision your wireless account for MMS when you first send an MMS message. *Other carriers will provision customers' wireless accounts for MMS automatically in large groups at different times*. If necessary, check with your carrier to confirm you are provisioned to send or receive MMS messages.

yea tried resending multiple times, different picts etc
text goes thru just not mms

Got turned on for me at 2:30pm EST. Working well here on Staten Island, NY.

OK...figured it out.

My account was originally an iphone 2G account. Upgraded to 3G some time ago but AT&T never added the correct services for 3G on the account.

It's working now after they added it back on.

Only new 3G+ accounts have it turned on by default.

I was able to send, but my wife didn't receive. Does her iPhone have to have the carrier update in order to receive?

But shouldn't the receiver, if not updated yet, still get the old URL via SMS?

I got it working I didn't need to turn off or reboot. I didn't have to turn anything on. Where is the on off for it at I can't find it. Otherwise works great. I can now send and receive nudie pics!!!

Not sure that AT&T still has viewmymessage.com still up and working.
