MMS Update

Took about 3 seconds to download and install the carrier update through iTunes. Turned the phone OFF then ON again and Voila... MMS!

Then I remembered that I've never had any need/want/desire to send an MMS message... I got two new ON/OFF switches to play with though!

It only took a few seconds to update my iPhone also. I did a quick restart and my iPhone was sending MMS messages.

What happens when you try to send an MMS? Did iTunes install the carrier update?
Try the general troubleshooting tips in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2755

If the issue persists, contact AT&T ( http://www.att.com/wireless/contact-us/) and have them verify the account settings.

Note: If your iPhone meets the system requirements, your wireless account may still need to be provisioned to send and receive MMS messages. Many carriers will automatically provision your wireless account for MMS when you first send an MMS message. *Other carriers will provision customers' wireless accounts for MMS automatically in large groups at different times*. If necessary, check with your carrier to confirm you are provisioned to send or receive MMS messages.

wondering if this is it
on the horn with att now...
