Battery: Full charge capacity (mAh): 0 ???
My Macbook Pro (Oct.2007) doesn't charge the battery since a couple of days. The status in the menu bar is 'Not charging' all the time. I checked the system profiler and it reads a full charge capacity of 0 mAh and the condition: 'Check battery'. Here the details:
Model Information:
Serial Number: SMP-ASMB012-3726-e96
Manufacturer: SMP
Device name: ASMB012
Pack Lot Code: 0002
PCB Lot Code: 0000
Firmware Version: 0102
Hardware Revision: 0500
Cell Revision: 0200
Charge Information:
Charge remaining (mAh): 0
Fully charged: No
Charging: No
Full charge capacity (mAh): 0
Health Information:
Cycle count: 109
Condition: Check Battery
Battery Installed: Yes
Amperage (mA): 0
Voltage (mV): 9975
Until last week, the battery worked just fine, it ran about 1.5-2hrs on a charge without issues. I can't believe that is really dead. Reset the SMC didn't help. Any other suggestions for this problem? Is there any utility to force the full capacity back to it's original value? (like 4000mAh or similar??)
Thanks!
John
