I did the MMS update, and rebooted the phone. And no longer could connect to my wireless. Rebooted phone again, no avail. Go to settings, the wifi section see the base station and says it is connected, but on the home screen there is no wireless icon, and no connectivity. Did a restore and refused the carrier update and wireless is back.

Do I now have to spend the rest of my life canceling the update for MMS?

After installing the update my WiFi showed a very weak signal, but just turning WiFi off and on fixed it.

    Hi David,

Try Resetting Network Settings on the iPhone by tapping Settings> General> Reset> Reset Network Settings.

If the issue persists, try the general troubleshooting tips in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398

After the MMS update, I'm also unable to connect to any WiFi networks. I can turn on WiFi (Settings -> WiFi -> On), but the iPhone is not actually able to find any networks, so none of the troubleshooting tips at that link are any useful.

I've already attempted to reset the network settings, reset all settings, restore from iTunes -- nothing works.

I've even tried to manually join the WiFi networks, but I get an error indicating that the phone is unable to scan for networks. My MBP finds these networks just fine, and the iPhone WAS able to until this update occurred.

    Anyone have any other suggestions?

I can't connect either after update...No error messages for me, just no WIFI...Shows check mark for network but detailed info is blank. Renew lease didn't work...delete network and reconnect didn't help.
