Hi,

Yes I tried that and it does reduce the icon size in the folder view, but it has no impact on the view of the apps folder from the Dock ....strange ....

there is no way to change the icon size in the Dock stacks. it's quite independent from the view options for the folder that a stack represents and can not be modified.
Thx

Not sure it is the same issue, but no matter how many times I change Applications's folder view options, it resets to 64x64 icon size and sort by name when I login again.

I go to to view->show view options and the select 48x48, sort by kind and click on use as defaults. Everytime I login again, Applications folder's icons are 64x64 and sorted by name.

Worked perfect in Leopard but now it *****.

Any ideas?

ditto again -- i waited till now to update to snow leopard cause i wanted all the issues to be worked out.. plus was waiting for some apps to update / be compatible. but these icons are stupid... i am not visually impaired and don't need 1 inch icons for the dock apps... and if i did that should be an option not forced. apple - pls change this!!

I upgraded from Leopard to Snow Leopard using my Time Machine, guess what!!

The icons in the grid view of Applications folder in the dock have become huge.

Now I can see 5 columns and 4 rows only and need to scroll to find other apps.

Earlier when I was with Leopard, I could see all applications.

So anyone yet figured how to reduce the size of the icons?
