Hi, I was in the middle of erasing the settings on my 2nd Gen, 3.0 FW iPod touch, when it shut off. I turned it back on and it said the battery was empty and to charge it. Well, I made sure and checked before I started and it was at 3/4ths, so I guess that was wrong. I have it plugged into the wall right now, but I don't think it is charging. I can turn on the iPod, and it'll show the Apple logo, but then it shuts off in about 5 seconds. There's nothing on the screen otherwise. when I plug my ipod into the wall or my computer, it displays the logo, but then shuts off again. What should I do?

Dell XPS microwave,
Windows XP Pro,
It can do the dishes too.
restore by holding the power button and home button down until you see it restart and let go of the power button and it should go to a black screen, plug it into your comp and restore.
