How to make STL files (with Word/Textedit?)

Just take a look at the manual - it will show how to "format" the text to be correct for subtitles. You probably need to be careful with soemthing like Word as it has a habit of doing things automatically for you which adds extraneous formatting. I think I'm right in saying you can import a simple text file as long as it has the correct Timecode In and Out references

What Steve said, but just to be clear, if you use Word you'll need to save the document as a Text only document and NOT as a Word or RFT doc.

I like to use BBEdit or Text Wrangler when working with text docs like .STL files.
