iPhone 3Gs syncing problem

Just got a 3Gs. Was syncing fine. Now last night I started getting a message saying that the while usb cord that comes with the phone is not a supported accessory. Then another screen comes on the phone saying the same thing but with a triangle caution sign. Then on the iTunes screen I get a message saying iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because an unknown error occurred (0xE800006B). Then the connection between the phone and iTunes drops. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

24" iMac, 13" Macbook, iPhone 3Gs, Mac OS X (10.5.7)

Sounds like there is something wrong with your USB cable or with the iPhone.

You can call AppleCare at (800) 694-7466, or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.

Are you using 32 bit mode or 64 bit mode when booting???

Do you have the latest versions of iTunes (9.0.1) and iPhone OS 3.1

Have you tried different cables to sync with...have you tried different USB ports?

Are you plugging into a keyboard USB...you should not use the keyboard ports or a USB hub even a powered one...

Thanks for your help. Seems my one year old unplugged the usb port power cord. Working fine now. Thanks again.
