iTunes Store shows blank white screen on my mac

i am unable to see the iTunes Store on my mac ... it only shows a blank white screen ... it won't shows artists, songs, videos, etc. The only thing i can see is the music i have in my music library. i downloaded iTunes 9, but still can't see it. any ideas how to fix this?
