Q: Connecting to the internet and reading CDs

Hi,
I have installed mac os 9 on my intel iMac with sheepshaver, i works well but how do i connect my mac os 9 system to the internet using wi-fi, and is there any way to make it read CDs? i want to install old software i had on my old macs.
Or is there a better way to install mac os 9 on intel machines?

Intel Imac, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

    As far as I am aware, Sheepshaver (third party software) is the only way to use OS9 on an Intel Mac. I don't have any experience with it, and questions like yours would best be asked on through support on Sheepshaver's own site. From what I hear, Sheepshaver can be temperamental and these may be manifestations of it. I know in Classic, such as you get with pre-Leopard OSX, it's OSX that is really in charge of hardware, not OS9. Often anything running under Classic can make use of hardware peripherals through OSX, but not always. It is possible that this is not the case with Sheepshaver, but as I said, you'd have to ask on Sheepshaver site.
