Intel iMac Maximum Hard Drive Size Replacement

I have an iMac (20-inch Late 2006) with 4 GB RAM and 750 GB hard drive. I replaced the hard drive about a year ago but I need more space. Can i replace it with a 2 TB hard drive?

Thanks in Advance,

Mike

Yes an eSata 3.5". OS X doesn't limit the size of the drive so as long as it physically fits inside your machine and is an eSata 3.5" drive you are fine.

As far as keeping everything in one place sure but please remember to use at least one backup even better redundant backups. Just in case you don't have one here is an excellent article from a recent Macworld about backup strategies.
