I'm cleaning up my HD in preparation of installing Snow Leopard and came across this folder: /Users/Shared/UDL
It contains a number of what looks like localisations of the form PIFCategory_<locale>.def

Anybody know what application this belongs to?

You probably shouldn't touch it if you don't know what it is unless the file is THAT big.

Do you own an Epson printer? I do and I came across the same files. I suspect it's related to that.

Yes, I have an Epson printer. Could be related. Not sure. I really can't find any relation to an application from this folder.

This sems to be related to old Epson printer drivers.
