Hi
I had the same problem with my MB Pro and an Epson Stylus Photo PX700W printer after upgrading to snow leopard.
I got onto Epson tech support and was advised to do the following (which worked by the way!)
1) Delete the Epson printer from the "Print & Fax" utility in the "System Preferences"
To do this, open "Print & Fax" and choose the epson printer in the left hand pane under "printers".
Then hit delete

2) Go to the Epson support site and download the latest drivers for your printer
URL = http://www.epson.co.uk/support
3) Enter your printer type and on the following page choose "drivers and software"
4) I personally downloaded the driver plus the Print CD application although I believe it may have been the same version as the one I already had installed.
5) Once the driver package is downloaded use the installer and install as normal
6) Once installed go back into "Print & Fax" and choose the + button under the printer left hand pane to choose a new printer.
In my case the printer was found on wifi using bonjour and I just chose it
7) launch the "Print CD" app and try to print
In my case all the options that had been greyed out had returned and I was once most able to print to CD/DVDs

I hope this helps

While I can get version to of Epson's print software to print, it does not respond to alignment instructions. So the image is skewed off half the disc.

I have tried everything ... So now what I do, is boot from my external firewire mirror drive, with which I backed up Leopard onto. All the software prints just fine from Leopard. But from Snow Leopard, it just doesn't work properly. And I am tired of destroying disks trying to correct an insanely poor Apple software implementation.

About Epson - my printer is an Epson photo R310. I also have an HP 2050, and an HP 3100 (an all purpose scan/print/fax etc). The HPs are fine. The Epson R310 seems only to have been sold in the Australian region. On Epson's Australia site, there is no recent support for Macs. And there is no CD software available from their site for Macs. The UK, and a Russian site, has the version 2 CD software. But I am not sure if that software fully recognises the R310 printer. It seems it may not ...

I tried the Disc Cover software; it also printed the image half off the disc.

I then tried to calibrate the printing, and I could not get it aligned.

With OS X Leopard, there is no need for calibration, everything works perfectly.

Apple have once again introduced faulty software, that is damaging workflows and creating problems.
