Tethering 3.1 un-supported Operator

Well i have a Factory unlocked iPhone 3G . internet tethering was working just fine. but after this BAD 3.1 update (that i would never recommend to anyone) Tethering disappeared from my Setting>General>Network.

i am using with a not supported operator by apple, but this is not why they released factory unlocked phones that costs 5 times more? to be able to use any operator we choose?

i work at the Technical>Core unit of this Operator company, and we are receiving many requests on how to enable it for those who updated their iPhones to 3.1

Any Suggestions would be appreciated
