I just bought a DLT 4000 machine and a PCI SCSI Card for my G5. The SCSI card shows up in my harware profiles but the DLT machine is no where to be found. Is there a trick to getting the mac to find it. Thanks

DLTs don't mount like hard drives. Does DVDSP recogize it?
No. It only gives me the option of Pioneer DVD drive and the hard drive. I do have a DVD 9 job that I'm trying to get out and I have inspector set up for a dual layer job. thanks for responding so quickly.
Which SCSI are you using. There have been problems with SCSI cards and G5's

Did you load the software driver for the new SCSI card? Same thing happened to me yesterday when connecting my DLT 4000 with a new card. The card was recognized hardware but DVD Studio Pro didn't see it until I installed the driver.
If you have an adaptec SCSI card, throw it away.
Get a ATTO UL3S or UL4S. the 3S is good enough though.
Adaptec has no OSX support and their drivers havent been updated forever.
But you also need to install the drivers for whatever SCSI card you have.
