Wireless password doesn't get saved in Iphone Config Utilities Profile

Hi All,

I cannot get the wireless password to save in the wireless profile I distribute to employees. I am using version 2.1.0.163 of the config utility. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using enterprise wi-fi with EAP? If so, the password is the user's password, not the AP password, so you probably wouldn't want it in a shared configuration profile anyways.

It's WPA2-PSK. I don't necessarily disagree with you, but it's pointless having the option there if it doesn't work. Plus you can encrypt the packages can't you? So that would stop people finding the password. Also, a lot of people aren't very literate when it comes to computer related issues, so it would be good (and less painful) to be able to push out a complete package and just send the users to a site to click on a link. Especially good for remote users as well I would think.
