Hello. I have an executive at my office asking the limit of the "recent calls" list on the iPhone 3G. I just wiped mine yesterday so I only have 5 in mine. Does anyone know where I could find documentation or could anyone just tell me how many recents the iPhone stores? I believe it's around 50.

Apple PowerMac G4, Apple iMac G5, Apple iPhone 3G, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

In my phone, I have 66 names on the list but this doesn't include the how many times I have called a person which could be different. When you make a few phone calls to the same number, the iPhone automaticaly groups the calls as you know for example: (contact (3)) which means that you called that person three times and you are also able to view the information when you click on the arrow on the right. I don't know if this changes anything as far as how many names your recent list will display but if you add everthing together It could probably get up to 100 calls.
    Hope this helps.

The number seems to be 100 exactly. This will include multiple calls to the same contact as well. So if you have 99 calls it will display a contact with 2 calls other wise it should show you 100 contacts. Note that missed calls are also included on the list.
