my telus sierra wireless compass 597 "no device detected"

help I've only had my mac for 2 month so I'm really mac dumb!
I installed snow and now my wireless usb isn't detected so I had to revert to leopard just so I could get on the internet to figure this out, I tried unplugging it and also restarting my mac, it doesn't show up anywhere, nothing works
please help

Just found the solution via the MacUpdate site. Works with the above aircard and gives you an updated Watcher that looks a bit sleeker than the old one. Download from:

I dragged my older Watcher Lite into the Sierra Watcher folder which also contains the uninstall. I then dragged the newer Watcher into the Applications root folder. There are few more preference items to modify as you desire. I also renamed the Network Preferences connection profile from the generic 3G Connection to Telus Aircard....whatever you want. Can then delete the old Sierra Telus profile.
