Currently Being ModeratedSep 30, 2009 12:57 PM (in response to sccr12571)If the printer isn't showing up in the AirPort Utility (in the manual setup / printers), I'd try the following:
1. make sure the printer is on and plugged in good
2. try a new usb cable
3. power-cycle the printer and airport
4. update the airport firmware
If the printer still doesn't show up, the USB port on the airport may be bad (test this by plugging in a different printer) or it is just not compatible with this particular printer.
Not being compatible is strange as it should at least detect a printer if it can be detected by a mac.
Currently Being ModeratedSep 30, 2009 3:29 PM (in response to sccr12571)Bear in mind that some printers will only work when they are connected directly to a computer. Work your way through the Apple troubleshooting guide to see if that will help get things going.
