The CC121 is a dedicated hardware Cubase controller Erik.

😉

I've been having a look at the manual on this thing, and considering it communicates directly with Cubase over firewire and there's no midi spec in the manual, I'd guess it'll be using it's own priority system to speak to Cubase.

So in answer to your question: I'd say that unless Steinberg do a Logic template in the future ( tantamount to me having my next birthday party on the sun ) then no, it can't be used to control Logic.

Yes, i know it works on usb (ot firewire) and i have also try to dump midi messages that enable the device...but no midi data appear on startup sequence of cubase. So maybe Cubase inizialize it directly in other usb protocol. I'm looking someone that find a "walkaround solution" or dump the usb starup comunication of cubase with cc121. CC121 is a very good piace of hardware but Steinberg don't want that anyone use it with other daw software 😟
