Has anybody made the Muse Resistance iTunes LP actually work?

I download it fine. It opens. I see pretty low grade visual fluff. No music plays. Click on Play Album button. No music plays.

Am I the only one who thinks that this is just not acceptable?

Anyone actually got it to work?

If so, how did you do it?

It reminds me of those really awful 'enhanced CDs' that record companies tried to hype up about 10 years ago. If this is what Steve is so excited by then I'm thoroughly unimpressed. Are there actually any good examples?

Works fine for me... and yes it's a bit like the enhanced CD's of old or a DVD Menu structure. For this album when you first open the LP it plays a short piece of backing music - the file is called audioloop but as far as I can tell it plays only once. Play just starts the album playing with a minimally animated backdrop. *Song List* takes you to a list of the songs. As you hover over each title there are comments by the band, much as you might find in a CD booklet. Clicking on a song title takes you to a page with it's lyrics and Play, Back & Next buttons. Back on the Home page Photos, Videos and Credits do just what you'd expect. More fun than a simple PDF reproduction of the CD booklet, but like a DVD bonus disc, you'll probably only explore it once. I was pleased to find that I could rename the songs with full length titles (e.g. 04 United States Of Eurasia-Collateral Damage (Excerpt From Nocturne In E-Flat, Op. 9 No. 2).m4a) and move the album to fit in with my own folder layout (moving the the iTunes LP folder with it but unaltered naturally) without breaking the LP. A minor grumble is that it doesn't scale to fit the 1024x768 display I use at home.

I don't know why it's not working for you. Perphaps it's a Mac issue, related to your internet security settings e.g. something blocking the script or maybe a crucial file didn't get unpacked properly from the download. Have you been into your purchse history and used the *Report a problem* button?
