Safari Not compatible with Eurosport player

Hi
I am disappointed to find that Safari in my iPhone 3GS is not compatible with Eurosport Player. Is there anybody reading who knows if this limitation is being worked on or how I can make a request for this to be considered?

Many thanks in advance

http://player.eurosport.com/faq#q4 : "Eurosport's TV Centre service is accessible from a computer which has the following software installed : Windows Media Player 9.0 or more recent, Microsoft® Windows® 98 Second Edition, Windows® 2000 or Windows® Millenium Edition or Windows® XP, a 800 MHz processor minimum, Intel Pentium IV or equal, 256 Mo of RAM or more, a Broadband Internet of 2Mb or more, a sound card of 16 bits or more, and a graphic card of a thousand colours or more."

That is, it seems they're using WMV streaming. Or, maybe, Flash (but, then, WMP wouldn't be listed as a necessity). Neither are really compatible with the iPhone out of the box. (WMV via the free AppStore app "Streamer" is (see my dedicated article), but it pretty much *****.)

Can you look into the "real" address (via, say, WMRecorder) of the Eurosport stream? Then, we could know whether it's a random one (which could still be got from inside the iPhone Safari every time you plan watching the movie) so that you can supply (paste) it for Streamer on your iPhone.

Hi and thanks for the reply.
The URL I collected via WMRecorder is rtsp://livestream-player.eurosport.com/nogeo/console/ !/eurosport_british_standard_doubleauth.wsx?auth=dbcmaHdBdRbRaKcVaEakc8bydkascfambv-bkY5At-4q-frG-wrHqIFDomv-mij5j5la
The problem here will be that it is a subscription service so requires a log in etc.
I guess I need the iPhone verson of Safari to support Windows Media files. 😟
