Maps App on my iPhone has green lines over every road?

Hi,
I noticed in the last week or so that when i open maps every single road has a green line over it which covers the name of the road. I can zoom in and zoom out and its still the same. I updated my phone hoping that would solve it but its still happening and it means i can't use my gps because i can't see the names of the roads!
