Can't sync Gmail Draft between iPhone & Gmail

I used to be able to just quickly start a draft on the iphone so I could finish writing it later on my Mac. But now when I save my draft it doesn't show up in Gmail and the drafts that I have in Gmail don't show up on my iPhone??
I setup my gmail account on my iphone through

Microsoft Exchange.

Thanks for any help in advance!!

it would appear that unlike the IMAP accounts, you can't choose the drafts to be on the server.

if you really need this function you can switch back to IMAP for gmail (i may be going back myself for speed reasons; the active sync is much slower to grab emails if they aren't already pushed).

the gmail drafts should show up though; the online 'Drafts' folder should be right next to the 'apple mail to do' folder (below the [Gmail] group).... actually i have a thought about that:

I tried to use the 'move' command to move from iPhone drafts to g.apps drafts; no luck!

So.. if you really need it; you'll have to go back to imap.

Thanks for your help, I went back to imap because of the drafts but also because I read somewhere else apparantly that if you archive or even delete a message they all just get archived in "all mail" and not in their specific label or trash when in push mode. Instead I downloaded PushGmailApp which pushes a notification when I get new mail and then I just go into the Mail app and retrieve my emails. Works great for me.
