Changing the default folder for Photo Booth?

Hi all,

I'd like to change the folder where Photo Booth saves all it's images. Is there any way to do this? Perhaps a Terminal command?

Thanks, hope someone can help

No.

Photo Booth is a basic, fun, app of very limited capabilities. There is only one configurable preference in Photo Booth, and that deals with auto-flipping new snapshot images.

The behavior you see results from the way the app is written. Perhaps someone with the necessary programming skills could re-write or develop a new app that offers the feature you want, but I know of no solution using Apple's Photo Booth app.

If you like, you can copy the Photo Booth files to a new location or perhaps use Automator to do it for you, but, if you move the images from the default folder location, Photo Booth will not be able to find or display them.

If you want to offer comments or suggestions for Photo Booth improvements, you can use Mac OS X Feedback to send your thoughts directly to Apple. You will not get an answer, but the responsible Apple people will see your input for consideration in future products.
