Audio book taking long time to download

This is the first time I'm trying to download an audio book using my iphone. It seems to be taking a very long time. Its been a half hour and all four parts of the book still say processing but with no indicaiton of any download (the bar is still empty). Does downloading through the iphone typically take a long time?
