Jam Packs

hello, im using, logic studio (logic pro 8) and during the installation ive installed all the samples that came with the set. however i don't know where the jam pack instruments are located. i know its physical location on HDD but withing media library i dont know where the jam pack instruments are.

logic 8 (studio)

installs:
jam pack 1
jam pack remix tools
jam pack rhythm section
jam pack orchestral
jam pack world music

i noticed that logic pro: under media library, loops tab, view menu lets me select individual jam packs to browse loops. in that menu i see jam pack 1
jam pack remix tools
jam pack rhythm section
jam pack orchestral
only. but jam pack world music is missing. however i can locate the files on my disk but its not showing up in the library. even i search for a specific file.
----------------------------------

so how do i see the jam pack instruments for exs and how do i get jam pack world music to show up in library?

please let me know.

You should be able to access any of the Jam Pack instruments by opening their corresponding Garageband instrument in the EXS. Or, if you highlight the channel strip setting for a given track, look in the media library under "shared garageband settings" (should be at the bottom of the list of channel strip presets). All the Jam Pack instruments should be there as well.

i got world music to show up after reinstalling the studio in OS hdd. i guess it wasn't showing up because it was installed to another HD.

i realize that there is "shared garage band settings" so under that are the jam pack samples listed into folders such as "jam pack 1, rhythm and so on? or just mixed into the garage band instruments? i really appreciate your time. please let me know. thanks

Unfortunately, the instruments are not sorted by which JP they belong to, they just appear in each instrument type folder (i.e. you will find the Asian Kit in the Drum Kits folder etc.). I know you can find a list of all the instruments that come in each JP, though I don't remember exactly where I saw it. Try google, it shouldn't be too hard to find.
